So we realized recently that we hadn’t posted updated pictures of our basement since the bar and craft room had been completed…so here goes! Jen’s craft area is now complete and it is completely decked out with all the necessities to sew, scrapbook, bead, quilt, etc. Now, I just need to find a way to slow Jen down long enough to enjoy her new room!!
Honestly though, the room turned out great and once things settle down a bit in terms of Jen’s work & schooling, it will serve as a great place for her to unwind and work on whatever makes her happy.
The bar has also been fixed up since it was last photographed, and now includes some shelves, a TV/DVD combo, as well as numerous knick-knacks and collectibles that have been looking for a happy home for some time now. I also hooked up our classic Nintendo system to the bar TV and find myself playing Zelda for hours upon end.
Thinking back to when we started this whole ‘basement project’…Jen and I were concerned whether the space would lay out well enough – and whether the rooms would be big enough to enjoy…now that it’s complete – we could NOT be happier. The basement is fantastic and each area ended up coming out as close to perfect as we could hope for.
We hope everyone is doing well…and we can’t wait to entertain each and every one of you in our new basement!!
