Let It Snow!

Let It Snow!

Well, winter has definitely arrived in Colorado…and over the past week, we have been lucky enough to get over a foot of snow!! We decided to take advantage of the snow this weekend and take the kids sledding. There is a great place to go that is only a minute or two from our house. What makes it even better is that it has ‘easy’ runs, as well as some that are a little trickier to navigate. We ended up spending about an hour out in the snow, and the kids had a blast, (CJ stayed home with Grandma since he’s not quite ready to go screaming down a hill on a piece of plastic just yet).

As mentioned above, the kids were lucky enough to have Grandma Jeanne visit from Nantucket. It was a short trip but we managed to keep quite busy with Christmas shopping…reading stories…playing in the snow…chatting…etc. And even though in the picture below it looks like Cameron pushed his Grandma over…that is not the case. That was a voluntary snow-angel :) The kids sure do love it when their Grandma visits, and are already looking forward to next time. Thanks for the great visit.

And since no update to the blog is complete without some shots of CJ…here ya go!! Jen actually was goofing around after one of his baths and gave him a little mohawk. It actually looked really cute (and also stayed for over a day!!). He has been pretty sick the last few weeks and been to the doctor a number of times, but he seems to finally be feeling a little better – and hopefully he’ll be 100% by Christmas.

We hope everyone is enjoying their Holiday Season!!
Love,

MJCE&CJ

What fun pictures, thanks for the update. I didn’t know you got one of the snow angel whose “wings are too big” according to Ellie. Such a fun visit I had and I am looking forward to the next one too. Love you and miss you all.
