It has been a while since I’ve posted a question here on oldweiler.com, so I thought I would start the week out with a fun little post. And while the question may seem simple and innocent, it might surprise you to know that I have EXTREMELY strong feelings and opinions on my answer…
The question is as follows:
GIVEN YOUR CHOICE OF WRITING UTENSILS, WHAT DO YOU PREFER TO WRITE IN?
For me the answer is simple…black ink. Always. No question. In fact I find it hard to even write in blue ink and generally look down on those who prefer blue ink. It really is the ‘lesser ink’. Just look at the color text your reading now…
So, with that being said, I have gone ahead and created a little poll for everyone to vote. If you think I’m wrong, and think blue is the superior ink, then let me know! I also went ahead and added a few other choices just in case…so don’t let me slow you down…go ahead and vote!
[polldaddy poll="1518404"]
Remember, voting is easy (and anonymous)…and comments are ALWAYS welcome and appreciated. We hope everyone has a fantastic week.
Love,
MJCE&CJ
(ps. black ink rules!)
O.k., so I’m the dork that chose “other”. I really have absolutely NO preference on the color of ink, or pencil. When grading papers, I LOVE writing in all different colors…it keeps it interesting. I tend to like felt tip pens in all colors, but need to use ball point for the referrals at school that have carbon copies. I also find myself writing many things in pencil, so that I can erase. I really don’t care…I’m just that easy.
I know that this probably bothers Matt to no end, but it is what it is! He loves me any way!
“Bothers” me?…it drives me absolutely nuts!
Yet the fact you can exist without having a ‘writing-utensil-color-preference‘ is just another reason I love ya!
Yes I really like a medium tip black roller ball pen.
Never use red as it is an indication of a loss or a mistake. For color its green like um money!
but for my address – phone book (no I do not trust the phone or the computer) I like to use a 5mm drafting pencil!
Sad but true no toys but I do have a pen and pencil!
I love the PaperMate FlexGrip Elite in blue! I like to sign a document typed in black ink in blue. Get tired of black all the time. Probably not correct business etiquette but oh well….I love to be different……well, sometimes anyway.
I really have to be inspired by the instrument itself, the color is irrelevant. I like the gel inks a lot and I like using a calligraphy tip dipped into ink, especially if I can use it on a coarse grain of paper. But ultimately a sharpened pencil is my favorite medium although the tip is usually compromised fairly quickly.
More than just black ink…I prefer the needle-point tip, gel ink for ultimate writing perfection!
