As we ease back into another work week, I thought I would throw down an old-fashioned challenge to my loyal readers. That’s right, here’s your chance to show what you’ve got. So what’s the challenge you ask? Three simple letters…’WPM’.
It’s time to strut your stuff and see how many Words Per Minute you can type! I know Jen will be all about this one, as we have recently had a little discussion about which one of us can type faster (aside from the fact that she’s just competitive about everything in general! 
)

Oh…and just to give you something to shoot for…here’s the results of my first test. I chose ‘Baseball’:
We are a family of five, living happily in Colorado. And since we find ourselves running out of hours in the day, we built this little site to keep friends and family up to speed on what's going on in our lives.

Let me raise the bar a bit. I just chose ‘Test Instructions’ and here are my results:
Net Speed: 95 WPM
Accuracy: 95%
Gross Speed: 99 WPM
I rule.
You suck.
I didn’t really have a chance to try, because people kept coming and interrupting me while I was trying to get the test done. I had 88 wpm with 99% accuracy though… I forgot what that made the gross speed, because it doesn’t really count. I will have to take this test again tonight when the kids are asleep.
No distractions, yep, that ought to do it…
Ok, I am going to try tomorrow too. I did two and will post both. I am a bit rusty on the ol’ typing I guess. Did the Wizard of Oz, 65wpm with 92% accuracy. Then the typing instructions one at 72 wpm with 84% -oops! Going to try again tomorrow.
