Wow…our little princess is now SIX years old!?!? At 8:36am, on August 21st, 2003, Eileen Theresa Oldweiler was welcomed into this world (and the world has never been the same!) Please join us in wishing her a Happy Birthday!
Thinking back to when Ellie was born, I cannot believe she was almost born on the shoulder of I-25…but alas, we were able to make it to St. Joseph’s with at least 20min to spare!! Perhaps all the utter-chaos and panic surrounding her birth sorta rubbed off on her personality; because she is a one-of-a-kind/adorable/annoying/unbelievably-cute/loving/intelligent/etc. little girl.
Ellie is so excited to be celebrating her birthday, and she has already received her gift…a brand new bicycle! We went to Bicycle Village this past Saturday and let her pick one out. She had a blast testing it out in the store; watching the guys at the store take it in back and give it a tune-up after we bought it; and riding it for hours upon end since we brought it home!
And since no birthday-blog-post would be complete without ‘the song’…here goes:
