So I have to admit that I am finding myself getting completely wrapped up in the World Cup. Whether it’s watching the games live on my computer, or reading the wrap-ups from the games I missed, I just can’t seem to get enough of this event. Also, it has been great to see Cameron getting so excited about watching the matches (and practicing his footwork in the back yard!).
Obviously, one of the major news stories coming out of the World Cup this year is that of the almighty vuvuzela! Now while you might not recognize the term, you would most certainly recognize the sound it makes. You see, the vuvuzela is the horn that is causing migraines around the globe. While not a rare occurrence at soccer matches in the past, something about this World Cup in South Africa has brought them out in full-force, and it’s forced news stations and FIFA to scramble in an effort to keep viewers from switching the channels.
Sooooo…since I’m turning into Mr. Futbol…and since I actually kind of like the sound they make, and the atmosphere they create…I thought I would bring the World Cup to oldweiler.com! Simply click on the vuvuzela below to be transported to a World-Cup-Edition of our site!!
And please note…the site is fully-functional – you can browse, read each post, and comment as you normally would. Enjoy

Hopefully it goes without saying…but you DO need to have the sound turned on for full enjoyment.
We are actually enjoying it too. Heather commented on Cameron’s soccer footwork. Thanks for the link.
