Ellie = 7

Ellie = 7

I suppose it’s pretty special that two of our kiddos have birthdays so close together…and I’m sure one day (when the unbelievable stress is gone) we will look at this week with a great deal of affection and nostalgia.  For now?  It’s nothing more than your average chaotic/crazy/hectic/unbelievably-special week!  Today, our wonderful daughter turns the big seven!  Unreal!

What is there to say about our darling princess that hasn’t been said a hundred times?  Ellie is without a doubt the happiest and most loving person I have ever met, and I truly appreciate her attitude toward family and life.  I’m almost embarassed to admit that I learn so many ‘life-lessons’ from her…because it should be ME teaching her!  Regardless of how things are supposed to work, I love my little girl more than I can possibly put into words, and I wish her the BEST birthday ever!

Anyway…now that we have THAT taken care of…perhaps you might like to see some pictures from Ellie’s birthday party?  Sure!  Last weekend Jen treated Ellie and her friends to an amazing spa-day birthday party.  There were manicures, pedicures, hair, make-up, face painting, fashion show, and more!  Everyone had an incredible time, and here are a few pics to chuckle at:

To wrap up…if you’re a regular visitor here, you are familiar with the birthday-blog-post tradition……

Happy Birthday to you,

Happy Birthday to you,

Happy Birthday dear Ellie,

Happy Birthday to you!

Happy Birthday Ellie!  We love you so much!!

    Happy Birthday, Ellie! I love this picture. You are so pretty. I have been looking through some old pictures of your family and it is hard to believe how fast the years are going and the kids are growing. Have a wonderful day today. Will call later. Yes, I can imagine how stressful the week is, especially when you throw in starting school. Enjoy your day.
