We were day-tripping up in the foothills with family when our oldest decided to stop and peek in the window of the local ‘Christmas’ shop. Thankfully, I was lucky enough to get my camera out in time. Such a classic pose – it almost belongs on the cover of ‘Look’ magazine!

While not quite as difficult as capturing a bald eagle taking off, this picture was still tough to get. Our youngest seems to always be on-the-go, bumping into something or other; so it is nice to look at this picture and be reminded of what a beautiful, amazing little boy he is. So peaceful. So perfect.

I admit – this is not a typical picture to display on a ‘photo site’ – but I am adding it due to the fact I love it more than almost any other picture I took with this camera. This was taken at our Raritan house, and I just can’t get past the fact that you can totally recognize it’s CMO in this picture even though you can’t see his face.

Babies feet are just about the cutest thing in the world. This picture was taken on a lazy afternoon back in 2007. I have a certain attraction to ‘foot pictures’, so odds are this will not be the last picture of toes on this site!

This picture is pretty self-explanatory…I needed a photo-esque avatar-pic for my site, so I grabbed my camera and snapped a picture of myself. Of course a little Photoshop work was needed for the flash/etc., but in the end I think it looks pretty slick.

I absolutely love this picture. We were knee-deep in our neighborhood 4th of July celebration when the firetruck turned its hoses on the kiddos! After being hesitant at first, she eventually warmed up to the fun and flashed me this priceless smile. Pure joy!
