Ahhh…more toys. I just LOVE photographing toys. These three greenies are from the ‘Monster In My Pocket‘ release from the 90’s. I was trying to get my lightbox setup just right and thought these little figures would provide a good subject matter…I think it turned out okay.

With brand new camera in hand, we toted the family down the road to see the innagural Rocky Mountain Air Show. It was a fantastic day, that left us with a number of wonderful ‘plane pics’. Even though it was over a year ago, I can still remember just how LOUD this F-16 was when he screamed across the sky. Amazing.

Those of you who know me are well aware of the fact that I collect EVERYTHING. This little guy just happens to be one of the numerous mini-figure toylines in my collection. Technically speaking, you are looking at a Super Deformed Kinkeshi from Japan (with his weapon attached!). This was taken in my lightbox while I was experimenting with a black background as opposed to the standard white.

There I was…face to face with the enemy. Palms sweating and ears ringing with the buzzing of bees I knew I was in danger. I was just about to chicken out and call it a day when lo-and-behold, this little fella buzzed right up to the raspberry flower in front of me and posed! Risking serious personal injury I entrenched myself on the garden path and proceeded to zoom in. Like a true professional, I triumphantly snapped this picture of ‘Mr. Bee’ prior to running inside screaming like a child. Mission accomplished.

If there ever was a picture that summed up the undeniable beauty of our cottage in Michigan, this would be it. Calm waters resting up to sandy beaches lying in the shade of massive trees. And that sky! Ugh…this is without a doubt one of my Top 5 pictures I have ever taken. Truly, my love for this picture knows no limits.
